2. Purpose, categories of Personal Data, legal basis and retention

2.1. Categories of your Personal Data and purposes of Our processing

We process the following categories of your Personal Data for the following purposes:

2.1.1. Name, address, telephone number and/or email address if you wish to make direct contact with Us, register for a newsletter or a closed user group. Which data is collected in the various entry masks depends on the individual entry fields. Mandatory information fields will be marked accordingly. All other information shall be voluntary, and;

2.1.2. Our web servers will store the shortened Internet Protocol address that is assigned to you by your internet service provider (i.e. the shortened IP address), the name of the website from where you visit Us, Our websites that you visit, the used web browser type and the date and duration of your visit. Unless you complete the login procedure, any relation to an individual person is not established due to the shortened IP address.

2.2. Legal basis for Our processing of your Personal Data

Our processing of your Personal Data is allowed by law and the legal basis are:

2.2.1. As to the processing of your Personal Data under section 2.1.1, it is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. (b) of the GDPR for the purpose of providing Our personalised services to you.

2.2.2. As to the processing of your Personal Data under section 2.1.2, it is Art. 6 para 1 lit. (f) of the GDPR for the purposes of ensuring the integrity, performance and security of Our website.

2.3. Do you have to provide your Personal Data to Us?

The provision of your Personal Data is necessary to access the protected areas of Our website, which is limited to members of Our customer and authority groups, to make direct contact with Us, or to receive a newsletter. This means that you are obliged to provide your Personal Data to Us as part of a user registration process when making use of these options. Such Personal Data can be viewed at all times via the “User Information” facility available when you have completed the login procedure.

The consequence if you do not provide your Personal Data to Us is that the respective service offered may no longer be available.

The website of REGIS-TR is using cookies, which are saved on the User's computer. These enable Us to retrace the User's visit and to save their preferences if they switch pages or revisit the website at a later date.

5. Social Media Buttons

Functions (plugins) of third-party providers or social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.) are embedded into Our website. These plugins enable the User to share content on the social networks mentioned. The interfaces are deactivated by default when the website is accessed. This means that no Personal Data is transmitted to the respective third-party providers without intervention on the part of the User. Once the User has activated the interfaces, data (incl. also Personal Data) is automatically transmitted to the relevant third-party providers by the plug-ins. If the User is simultaneously logged in to the network of the respective third-party provider when they visit the website, the third-party provider can assign the visit to the User's network account. We have no influence on this. The purpose and scope of such a form of data collection and the further processing and usage of Personal Data are outlined in the data protection guidelines of the individual social networks. 6. Web analysis

We analyse how Our website is used with the help of third-party analysis tools, such as Google Analytics (hereinafter «Analysis Service Providers»). We assume no responsibility or liability for any data processed by Analysis Service Providers.

Google Analytics, a web-based analysis service by Google Inc. (hereinafter “Google”), uses cookies, which are saved on the User's computer. The information generated by the cookie concerning their visit is usually sent to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If We activate IP anonymization for this website, Google shortens the User's IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other partner states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and anonymized there. Google evaluates the information that has been saved on behalf of Google for the purpose of compiling reports on the website's usage and in order to provide other associated services for Us. Google may combine the IP address transmitted from the User's browser by Google Analytics with other data that has been collected.

Captchas
In specific cases We use the Google reCAPTCHA v2 to avoid the usage of text fields by automated programs/bots. It helps to support the security of our website and to avoid spam for Users. This is our legitimate interest and fulfills our legal obligation.

The collected data is hardware and software information, such as device and application data and the result of integrity checks. This data will be sent to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The data will not be used by Google for personalized ads.
